How are your drivers vetted?

All of our drivers are first thoroughly interviewed by management, followed by reference checks and obtainment of their driving record. Each driver is then fingerprinted, drug tested and background checked through the nationwide system as required by the city of Austin. Upon hiring, they are trained directly through Clean Air Limo and required to complete chauffeur licensing prior to any scheduling any trips. 

Your safety is of utmost importance to us, and we want to make sure you feel secure with all of our drivers every time you set foot in a Clean Air Limo vehicle.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and credit card payments. We also accept checks from account holders. Invoicing is also available for corporate account holders.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations need to be canceled at least 48 hours ahead of your scheduled pick up time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up will result in a charge of 50% of the reservation fare. The full reservation fare will be charged if the passenger fails to arrive at the designated location. To avoid a no show fee, please call 512-956-2181 if you are unable to locate the Clean Air Limo vehicle.

Adjustments able to made to reservations with 24hrs notice will not be charged a penalty. Changes due to flight delays or flight cancellations, will not be charged. Account holders will consistent reservations will be allowed more flexibility on bookings.

Are there additional fees, taxes or gratuity?

There is only an additional airport fee, charged by the city, noted on all arrival pickups from the airport, but we do not charge any additional fees associated with early morning or late night pickups, or other hidden costs. There are also no other taxes applied to your booking. 

There will be gratuity added, after the time of the service, to all group or party reservations, tours, and hourly booking longer than 4 hours, if no gratuity was already requested to be charged or paid to the driver. There is also added gratuity on all company contract reservations, of which the company has already made the request for all their booked services.

Please note that we do not automatically add gratuity to individual personal reservations, or to guests of our contracted spas and hotels. We prefer to leave this amount to our clients discretion and experience.

It is customary to tip your driver 20-25% and we want this decision to be yours. (Please note this does not apply to clients who’s hotel reservation experience, with one of our spa or and resort contracts, has gratuity included. While these drivers are not employees by the spa or resort, they are aware these guests are reserved with a gratuity included reservation.)

What is your policy on additional stops?

Please include any necessary stops in your booking to allow your driver to be properly scheduled to accommodate the stop time.  Our drivers cannot always made additional unscheduled stops in point to point transfers, due to scheduling, but will try to fulfill any requests if possible. Please be kind and understanding with your driver if they are unable make an unscheduled stop.

All scheduled and unscheduled stops will be charged an additional fee.

This does not include transfers booked hourly. While it is best to include all stops in your reservation so that we may provide the best experience, your driver is able to make any requested stops made by the person who made the reservation, during your reserved time, as long as it does not extend or possibly extend the reservations end time.

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely! We are pet friendly and welcome all parts of your family. Please let us know about your pet(s) when booking, so we may be sure to have the appropriate vehicle and driver.

Can you accommodate my baby/child with safety seats?

All of our vehicles are equipped for child safety seats if you are traveling with one. We also have infant, toddler and booster seats available for your travel if you would like to leave yours at home.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We prefer at least 48 hours notice for all bookings, to do our best in making your reservation. We are not an on demand service, and are often booked out no less than a week in advance, with our drivers also scheduled by Sunday’s for the full upcoming week.

We will always do what we can to make your reservation, and even if you call with less than 24 hours notice we will still do everything we can to book your ride, but please be understanding if we are unable to accommodate.

What is your waiting policy?

For each reservation, there is a 10 minute grace period for which no wait time charges are assessed. After that 10 minutes, wait time charges apply. We track all commercial flights and wait time is not charged for any passenger arriving on a commercial airline in which the flight is delayed. For arriving flights, we will wait as long as it takes if we hear from you. If we cannot make contact and we don't hear from you, we will leave an hour after the flight arrives, and charges will still be made. Is smoking allowed in your vehicles?

No smoking is allowed in any vehicle provided by Clean Air Limo. If this policy is violated, we reserve the right to end the trip immediately with no refund available.

Where do you greet clients in the Austin airport?

We offer two options for greeting clients at the airport. If you are new to Austin or would like help with your luggage, your chauffeur will greet you in the baggage claim area. If you would like to be on the road as quickly as possible, please let booking know you will not be checking bags and your chauffeur will meet you upstairs after you depart your flight.
